About the Hosts
Marsha Friedman, the elder stateswomen of the group, is a proud wife of 35 years (to the same man!) mother of four and a grandmother. She brings the wisdom of her wide range of family experiences to The Family Roundtable.
Marsha is a prominent business woman, publicity expert, author and public speaker. She’s the Founder and CEO of a family business which also employs her husband, her son and daughter-in-law! Her firm, EMS Incorporated is a national public relations agency that she launched in 1990 in Clearwater, Florida. Her agency represents corporations and experts in a wide array of fields ranging from health, politics, finance, fitness and entertainment to name a few. She also consults individuals and businesses on a daily basis and is frequently asked to speak at conferences about how to harness the power of publicity.
Additionally, Marsha has been giving back to the community that has served her. A mother of three and a grandmother who also is raising one of her grandchildren, she is the founder of a non-profit organization called, Cherish the Children Foundation. In 1996 the White House recognized her charity which works to raise awareness of the plight of underprivileged and foster children.
Robin Webster is the “middle child” of the round table. She’s married and the mother of one amazingly brilliant little boy. Robin is very involved with her church as a youth leader and education director. Finding it impossible to just “attend” anything, she is also Vice President of their local Recreational Youth Soccer League. She lives on a farm with twenty acres, and her favorite place to unwind from work is on her front porch with a glass of iced tea doing NOTHING!
Robin’s expertise is in the field of direct response advertising in all forms of media but in particular non-traditional media venues with a strong focus in the representation of talent on radio and television. She is also Vice President of John Pierce & Company, LLC which is a full service brokerage firm that represents buyers and sellers of radio and television properties.
Dro Silva is the lone male (and youngest) voice on the show. He’s currently engaged to the love of his life, Jeni, and their family consists of 4 cats and a dog (Maverick), which he constantly references when the topic of children is brought up. Professionally, Dro co-hosts a talk radio show in Atlanta, Georgia. In terms of his own family background, for many years Dro was an only child. But since both of his parents remarried he now has 4 half brothers, a stepbrother and stepsister. |
